A Family, a Grill, and a Must-Stop in the Tobago Cays
Romeo and his family - originally from near Clifton on Union Island - have been feeding sailors, cruisers and island-hoppers on Petit Rameau (Petit Batteau) beach for years. What started as a simple beach grill became a must-stop for anyone touring the Tobago Cays.
The formula hasn't changed: spiny lobster pulled from the reef, grilled over open flame with garlic-herb butter, heaped onto plates with coconut fried rice, sautéed vegetables or salad, fried plantains and garlic potatoes, grilled and served with our signature homemade garlic and herb sauce - all eaten with your toes in the sand as the sun goes down. Complimentary curried conch when in season. Finish with a delicious banana cake or mixed fruits for dessert.

Grilled Lobster
The signature. Whole spiny lobster split and grilled over open flame, basted with Romeo's garlic-herb butter. Half a lobster is the serving. Only small lobsters are served whole.
Grilled Fish
Whatever the morning catch brought in - snapper, mahi-mahi or tuna - grilled and finished with lime, herbs and local pepper sauce.

When you reserve lunch or dinner, you can arrive via tender. If this is not possible, Romeo's crew runs its own boats to shuttle your party from your yacht to the beach and back - a courtesy for booking with them.

Marine park fees
Tobago Cays Marine Park rangers collect fees daily, separate from dinner: Mooring/Anchoring $60 XCD ($23 USD) per boat per 24h, plus $15 XCD ($6 USD) per person per day. Keep cash or prepay via the TCMP Reef Support portal.

Call Romeo on VHF, or message on WhatsApp.
Book ahead so Romeo knows how many to grill for. When you reserve, give your yacht name and mooring location if you require pickup, if not, we look forward to your arrival via tender.
